FINALLY, an article about my trip to Kerala, India, has been published in a national print magazine, Panorama, for Nov-Dec 2014 edition. With the tagline ‘Seeing The World Differently”, this magazine is definitely one of Indonesia’s leading magazines in travel & lifetsyle.
Entitled ‘Terpana Kerala’, I wrote about how mesmerizing Kerala is with its backwater life and hill-stations. My trip in Kerala was begun in the capital city Thiruvananthapuram, where I witnessed the symbol of hammer & sickle appearing almost everywhere in the entire city (in fact in the whole state). This is a living proof for me that communism is well received here and working fine (contrary to what we’ve been told about by our government since a long time).
These 7 pages article of mine (it should be 10 at the first place, but my editor suddenly changed her mind) also mentioned about Kerala’s backwater life, how excited it was to be able to cruise the biggest lake on kettuvallam, a traditional houseboat. You should also read about why I love hill stations of Munnar, the place where the greenest tea plantations cover all area. And why I really need to get back to Munnar to watch the flower of neelakurinji blossoming.
So, what are you waiting for? Go grab the Panorama magazine now! 🙂
